Job Description

Due to the continuing success and growth of our London team, this fantastic opportunity has opened up at our award-winning specialist consultancy, engineering and advisory firm.

At AESG we are looking for a Graduate Fire Engineer to support the division and work alongside our other specialist disciplines. The role will be to support the successful delivery of UK and international projects, working with project team Engineers and Senior Consultants throughout all project phases, whilst also including independent project management of complex design and construction projects, covering all aspects of Fire Engineering.

The role will also include accountability for client relationship management and development within the division. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating technical engineering solutions and a willingness to work across multiple large-scale projects.

Essential Skills:

  • BSc or MSc in Fire Engineering or similar.
  • Technical experience working with a variety of projects FLS specifications and designs.  
  • Ability to devise and develop pragmatic solutions, support, and resolve a variety of project challenges. 
  • Resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to reason, read, and adapt to address a broad audience with comfort and presence. 
  • Experience working for or in a Fire Consultancy.
  • Sound technical knowledge in Fire Design and Engineering within Residential, Commercial and Hotels sectors.
  • Understanding of Fire engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
  • Able to take a brief from the project lead and deliver & control the tasks required, within time and budget.
  • Ability to collaborate with various parties to organise a completion of a full package of fire engineering tender intent documentation.
