I’m an associate working in our buildings market, based in London.
My role is to bring new and innovative technology to real projects, to deliver real benefits for our clients.
Working for Ramboll has given me the opportunity to explore new technologies, and also to scale good ideas to benefit clients all around the world.
Through activities like the Ramboll Innovation Accelerator (a Group-wide innovation programme), I have been able to experiment with technology, to fail fast when things don’t work, and accelerate development of the ideas which bring real value. I’ve been able to access global experts, from Computation Designers in London, to Data Scientists in Germany and Machine Learning experts out in the USA.
Our industry is changing fast because of new available technology, and I love working for a company which is embracing this change and helping our industry enter a new and more productive age!
I love sitting down with our clients to discuss their aspirations and challenges, to really understand their needs and define what we can do to help them.
Working for such a respected and global business, I get to meet a wonderful range of clients and experts across our industry, and to hear their views. The best part of my job is being able to see the benefit that our innovative solutions can bring to these people.
Through my time at Ramboll I have always found a new challenge which excites me.
I joined the business as a graduate structural engineer, and my passion for structural design has only grown since I have been at Ramboll.
What I did not expect was the other opportunities – I have worked across multiple sectors, from airport planning to office design to underground rail to historic refurbishment and large-scale regeneration. I have travelled across the world, including a secondment to the Qatar, a project in Brazil, and workshops throughout the Ramboll network to share and leverage our global knowledge.
I continue to find new challenges at Ramboll, and I’m always surrounded by amazing people who I share each challenge with!
