Below are just some of the projects we have worked on:
Standing since 1906 in London's historic Whitehall district among government edifices, the Old War Office building has a storied history, having served as the administrative centre for the nation's military leadership, including Winston Churchill, and even inspiring Ian Fleming's James Bond novels. After eight years of restoration, this iconic building has been reborn as The OWO, a new destination that includes a luxurious hotel with 120 guest rooms, a capacious 600-person ballroom, a spa, nine restaurants, and three bars.
Worship Square is a newly built office development in the heart of Shoreditch, London. It is setting a new benchmark for net zero carbon construction and operation with its innovative workspace building. Jensen Hughes developed the fire strategy for the building from initial concept design through to detailed design and supported the project through the construction stage to handover of the base build.
Repton Gardens is the tenth and most sustainable building designed and executed in Wembley Park, London. Comprising three distinctive towers, Birch House, Cherry House, and Aspen House, this development offers a total of 396 build-to-rent homes, including 117 units designated as affordable housing. Designed with families and sharers in mind, Jensen Hughes stepped in to carry out a fire strategy for the whole development.
The Northcliffe House, previously the headquarters for The Daily Mail newspaper, sits in the Whitefriars Conservation Area and is considered a historic Grade II listed building. Jensen Hughes were tasked with developing a new comprehensive fire strategy that would enhance fire safety, maximise the number of occupants on the floor plate, increase the floor area and support the new atrium design aspiration.
