Accelerating the affordability, scalability and sustainability of green hydrogen

EnerHy Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) will develop the necessary networking, training and skills to enable rapid growth in hydrogen-related technology. 

Led by Loughborough University in partnership with Cranfield University and the University of Strathclyde, the CDT aims to address the challenging aspects of rapid growth in hydrogen production and usage such as cost, supply and waste chain development, scalability, new technologies and social acceptance. 

Fully funded studentships are available to students from STEM, business and social sciences.

The EnerHy CDT will play a central role in developing the skilled workforce needed for a hydrogen economy. Hydrogen offers the scope to deliver energy security and acceleration to Net Zero but we need to produce more hydrogen from renewable sources.
