Job Summary
This position is responsible for collecting, aggregating, analysing, and maintaining supply chain data to support strategic and operational initiatives. This includes but is not limited to spend analysis, supplier performance management, sourcing optimisation, cost-saving initiatives, vendor negotiations and corporate reporting. The role provides data-driven insights to improve procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and overall supply chain effectiveness.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain supply chain databases, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Conduct spends, cost, and value stream analysis to identify savings and process improvement opportunities.
Analyse sourcing trends including contract expirations, cost variance, market conditions, and commodity fluctuations.
Provide regular reporting on key supply chain metrics and performance indicators.
Support supplier performance management, including tracking KPIs and maintaining supplier scorecards.
Work with Supplier Quality and Commodity Managers to improve supplier capability and performance.
Assist with development and implementation of commodity strategies and sourcing initiatives.
Support eSourcing activities and vendor negotiations.
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of supply chain data across systems (including spend analysis tools such as Zycus).
Develop and monitor adherence to procurement policies and strategies.
Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen events) to reduce waste and enhance operational performance.
Partner with internal stakeholders across procurement, finance, operations, and quality teams.
Work within global, cross-functional teams to implement improvement plans and deliver measurable results.
Promote strong collaboration to ensure supply chain responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
About You
Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Desirable but not essential 3 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, or data analysis role.
Experience/understanding in data analysis, forecasting, cost modelling, and supply chain metrics.
Knowledge of supplier management processes and procurement strategies.
Experience with eSourcing tools and automation solutions (e.g., RPA).
Professional certification (e.g., APICS, ISM) desirable.
Skills Required:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Power BI and data visualisation tools preferred.
Experience with ERP systems, databases (e.g., Access), and reporting tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
