We are looking for a CFD Engineer to join the team to help push forward our growing business. The engineer will help lead and oversee CFD Projects. You will have between 1-5 years' experience in CFD and a relevant degree from a top university. You will work closely with our vastly experienced CFD aerodynamic development team.
You must be eligible to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to CFD projects for customers throughout motorsport and automotive sections.
Carry out pre processing work to prepare models for CFD.
Setup and manage CFD simulations.
Carry out aerodynamic analysis and reporting.
You will communicate with the customer on a daily basis.
There may be opportunities to help with mechanical design, 3D printing, 3D scanning projects and experimental testing.
There may be opportunities for project management responsibilities.
About You
This role is ideal for someone wanting to take a step forward in their career whilst working on a diverse range of projects in a rapidly growing company.
An engineering degree with relevant industry experience and a passion for a variety of disciplines including motorsport, automotive and elite sport.
You will have a 1-5 years experience of CFD experience.
Experienced in CFD simulation, ideally using OpenFOAM.
Experience in pre processing models for CFD, ideally with Ansa.
Experience in technical report writing and customer communication.
Surfacing experience is desirable but not essential, ideally using Alias.
Solid modelling experience is desirable but not essential, ideally using OnShape or similar.
Experience in working with 3D scan data is desirable, ideally using Geomagic.
You will want to work on a variety of applications in a small but growing team. A hands-on approach and desire to ‘get stuck in’ is essential.
