Summary

This role provides exposure to the disassembly, inspection, and assembly of powertrain (car engine/transmission) components, on a production scale. It is a shopfloor-based position designed to build hands-on production experience, with rotation across various sections such as engines, transmissions, transfer boxes, disassembly, inspection, assembly, and testing. There are also opportunities to apply internally to other graduate programmes as they become available.

Role and Responsibilities

Following Process Instructions to specified time and high standard/quality.
Using ERP system to issue and receive stock.
Work with strong attitude, attendance and timekeeping.
Instil good working practices across section.

About You

Graduate (2:2) in engineering/STEM subject or equivalent.
Knowledge of a range of technical subjects.
Good IT skills, confident in using MS Office applications.
Capable of reading technical engineering drawings.
An energetic and numerate person who can quickly analyse and identify best solutions.
Must have a “hands on” approach.
Looking to gain experience that would facilitate applications to Graduate Engineering roles.
