Job Description

McAdam Design (Ireland) is seeking to employ Civil Engineering undergraduates to fill a number of positions commencing in 2026. McAdam have been and are currently involved in some of Ireland's most iconic projects including the UE Growth & Development, Peace Bridge, Belfast Leisure Transformation, Lagan Gateway, Belfast WWTW, and Game of Thrones Studio Tour.

We have recently opened an office in Cork reflecting a strong pipeline of work in the region. 

You will work under a Chartered Engineer performing a mixture of field and office work including survey, drafting, designing and project management tasks on a wide variety of projects within the water, infrastructure, structures and environmental sectors of our business.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have a degree in Civil Engineering,
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills,
• Confidence and ability to work within a team, but with a degree of autonomy.

Desirable:

• A working knowledge of AutoCAD,
• Previous design office experience,
• Driving Licence
• Circa 1 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role working on civil engineering wastewater projects.
