I joined ISC in January 2021 as a CNC Operator, with a background in general engineering. I am now a CNC Setter/Operator on the auto lathes, where I set the machines, tooling, and offsets to produce the components in accordance with the engineering drawing ensuring they are dimensionally accurate.
I am now confident to set all types of CNC auto lathes for each job operation in accordance with the CNC programmes and drawings.
I recently completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree, and with ISC's support through day release I achieved a First Class Honours in Applied Mechanical Engineering Systems at Bangor University.
What I enjoy most about my role at ISC is each day comes with new challenges; this allows me to further my understanding by learning from our friendly, approachable and experienced team. I enjoy the problem-solving with each job presenting a new and unique opportunity to learn!
