Financial Analyst

Accountancy, Finance, Maths, Analytics.

About the role

This is an opportunity to begin a career in finance and accounting within a small, experienced team. You will take on genuine responsibility from an early stage, contributing to financial reporting, analysis, and commercial decision-making alongside senior colleagues.

Training will include the practical use of AI and data tools, which are increasingly central to how modern finance functions operate. For candidates who perform strongly, there is a supported pathway to study towards a professional accounting qualification — either ACCA or CIMA — subject to mutual agreement.

As a graduate you will benefit from close interaction with colleagues and peers across the business, especially at the start of your career. For that reason, you will work full-time in our offices in Kensington and Central London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate, interrogate, and present financial and operational data in a clear and useful format
  • Contribute to commercial analysis and project-based work as required
  • Look for opportunities that exploit AI to improve the speed of financial analysis
  • Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Develop a sound understanding of the full finance cycle and the wider business

What we are looking for

  • A degree in a STEM subject
  • Excellent academic record (Minimum 2:1 degree)
  • Strong numerical aptitude and a natural inclination to question and investigate data
  • Intellectual curiosity and self-motivation — someone who takes initiative and thinks independently
  • Professional in manner and communication, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and present confidently to senior colleagues
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential; familiarity with data tools such as Python or SQL would be an advantage
  • UK resident

What we offer

  • Structured training in AI and data tools as an integral part of the role
  • The opportunity to study towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA), fully supported for strong performers
  • Close working relationships with experienced finance professionals
  • A defined pathway for technical and commercial development
  • Salary of up to £32,500
  • Subject to agreement, we anticipate a starting date in September 2026.
We've signed the Gradcracker feedback pledge.
(This means that we will supply feedback if requested after an interview.)

How to Apply

Please visit Graduate Application Form and upload your CV along with a short covering note written in your own words. We want to understand what draws you to OCL Vision, this particular role, why finance/accounting and what you think you would bring to a small team. Applications that are generic or appear to have been written by AI will not be considered.

If there is a specific problem you have solved using data, a model you have built, or anything quantitative you are proud of, feel free to mention it briefly. It does not need to be finance-related.
