Plans include the potential for a 1GW data centre campus with a target zero carbon in its energy operation. The scheme will harness the 3GW of renewable energy supplies within 50 miles of the site and also the 1.2GW of planned/consented wind and solar developments in the region.
In addition the data centres will utilise advanced cooling technologies that don't place a burden on water resources and strive to achieve full water neutrality.
