About this Role

This role would be based at our Leeds site, but would cover both our Leeds and Leicester Facilities. The individual will report to the Network Administrator, who reports to the IT Manager and duties would include:

  • Daily operations tasks such as server backup monitoring
  • Installation/Upgrade of Desktop systems
  • Support of Desktop Systems and Peripheral Equipment
  • Provide user-level software support on Microsoft products and other business applications
  • Active Directory User & Account Administration
  • Support of Manufacturing Control PC’s
  • Support IT requirements for implementation of new and updated manufacturing projects
  • Support/configure local area network environment
  • Support helpdesk ticket requests
  • It would be preferable for the candidate to have a UK Driving Licence

About You

Essentials

  • Studying for a relevant IT course with a strong predicted grade (2.1 or above)
  • Well developed problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge ways of thinking
  • Knowledge of hardware and software installation
  • Well motivated, self starter with drive and enthusiasm
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Structured, method driven approach to all work tasks
  • Familiarity with standard desktop concepts and troubleshooting network connectivity issues

  • £24,800 Per Annum Salary
  • 38 hour working week
  • This opportunity is at our Leeds Site
