Join us and do extraordinary things

Through our Business & Technology Graduate Programme, you’ll work at the intersection of business, technology and innovation, helping clients solve complex challenges and create lasting value. You’ll explore how organisations can reinvent the way they operate, grow, and serve their customers by combining strategic thinking, data-driven insight, AI-powered transformation and practical technology solutions.

This streamlined programme brings together opportunities across business and technology consulting into one pathway. Through a single application, we’ll consider your skills, interests and potential, then guide you into the work that best fits you, whether that leans towards business and management consulting, hands-on technology delivery, or a blend of both. You don’t need to have it all figured out on day one; you need to be curious about where you could go.

What You'll Do

From day one, you’ll work as part of collaborative project teams, building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues while developing your consulting, analytical and technology skills. The work is varied, fast-paced and practical, and no two projects are the same. You’ll build breadth by working across different technologies, industries and client challenges rather than being boxed into a single specialism.

In your first year, you might find yourself:

  • Supporting the adoption of emerging technologies and helping teams put AI to work on real client problems
  • Working within a project team to help a client deliver a large-scale digital transformation programme
  • Using analytics and data to identify opportunities and shape recommendations for a client
  • Designing, refining, building, testing & deploying technology solutions as part of a delivery team
  • Running business analysis, project management or process improvement to keep delivery on track

There are many directions your career can take from here, across areas such as technology strategy and transformation, AI-powered customer experience, talent & change management, operating model & business process design, data and analytics, testing, project and programme management, and cloud. Some of our graduates build broad consulting careers; others develop deep specialist and technical expertise. The programme is designed to give you the exposure to work out which path is yours, and the support to pursue it.

Where You'll Work

Accenture is a people first business which thrives on collaboration, knowledge sharing and building strong connections.

As a dynamic and constantly evolving business, we love the flexibility of a hybrid working model. However, due to the nature of our work, you may be delivering projects on client sites anywhere in Ireland and sometimes outside of Ireland. You will be expected to work on client site or in your assigned office for a minimum of 1-2 days a week (but up to 5 depending on business and client requirements).

There is an expectation for all graduates to be based within a commutable distance of your assigned office which will be Dublin.

What We're Looking For

The world of consulting is changing. As AI takes on more of the routine, execution-based work, the analyst role is shifting from doing the work to directing it, using AI and new technologies to generate outputs, then applying judgement, critical thinking and accountability to validate, refine and deliver work our clients can trust. Technical foundations still matter, but what really sets our best people apart is how they think and how they work.

That’s why, more than any specific degree or set of skills, we’re looking for the behaviours that will help you thrive in an AI-enabled world. You’ll stand out if you:

  • Take initiative: you’re a self-starter who spots opportunities to solve problems in better ways, including with AI, rather than waiting to be told
  • Take ownership: you hold yourself accountable for the quality of what you deliver, and you follow through
  • Are genuinely curious: you love to learn, test out new ideas & technologies, pick things up quickly, and keep developing long after the training ends
  • Think critically: you question, validate and apply judgement rather than taking outputs at face value
  • Adapt with confidence: you’re comfortable operating in ambiguity and navigating change
  • Communicate and connect: you can explain your thinking clearly, tell a compelling story with data, and build trust with clients and colleagues
  • Enjoy variety: you’d rather build breadth across different problems, technologies and industries than stay in one lane

We welcome applicants from all academic disciplines, with a minimum 2:1 degree result obtained or predicted. You do not need to be technical, or to have a business background to apply, and we hire brilliant people from arts, business, STEM and everything in between. What matters most is your curiosity, your adaptability, and a genuine interest in how technology, AI and data are changing the way businesses operate. A STEM background can be beneficial for some paths, but it is not a requirement.

What's In It For You?

Rewards & Benefits

At Accenture, in addition to a competitive basic salary, you will also have an extensive benefits package.

Training & Development

Your development begins on day one, and it doesn’t stop after your initial training. We’ll invest in you through a structured induction, hands-on practical training, mentorship from experienced colleagues and leaders, and real project experience, the combination that turns you into a confident, capable Analyst.

Depending on your skillset, and the type of work that you will be doing will vary in the training path that you go down. All analysts joining will build the consulting fundamentals, including business analysis, communication, storytelling and stakeholder engagement, alongside practical, current technical skills.

For those more on the Technical path, you’ll get grounded in the technologies and delivery methods shaping our clients’ businesses, including Agile, DevOps, cloud, data and, critically, AI.

We take AI capability building seriously: all analysts will go through an AI bootcamp, with different pathways developed for different skillsets. We’ll make sure you learn how to use these tools well and apply them with judgement, so your skills stay relevant as the market moves.

Alongside formal learning, your project experience is where your skills really come to life. Working with clients and Accenture teams on live challenges, you’ll build capability in areas such as business analysis, data analysis, testing, project management, technology delivery and AI-enabled change, depending on the projects you support. You’ll also have the opportunity to gain recognised industry certifications across technologies, delivery methodologies and consulting skills as you progress.

You won’t do this alone. You’ll join a supportive graduate community, with the structures around you, including people leads, buddies and a strong cohort, to help you settle in and grow. Accenture is a people-first business that thrives on collaboration, knowledge sharing and building strong connections, and we’ll back you as you broaden your skills, grow your confidence and shape your career in consulting.
