Help get the economy back on track

Want a role that means more? Join us on our mission to Help Britain Prosper and support UK businesses.

Think finance isn’t for you? Think again.
From cracking code to crunching data, from finance to green ideas, this is where you get to change up the status quo.

Right now, what we do matters more than ever. We create and deliver all kinds of financial products for businesses of every size and shape. We help them manage risks, become more sustainable, innovate, bring on new talent, and grow.

Finding solutions, embracing tech

When world events shake up markets, we're quick to collaborate and find solutions. We're flexible and excited to embrace new tech to improve the way we work.

With our goal of finding even better ways to help our customers and businesses become more sustainable, this is a program you'll be proud to be part of. And you don't need a banking or finance degree.

Growth

From day one of your internship, your perspective is valued and it’s real work that matters, helping real businesses grow. It’s real responsibility.

You may dive into all kinds of specialties and build a solid toolkit of skills, including:

  • working directly with Business & Commercial clients – understanding what they need and building relationships that last.
  • Getting to know our range of products like lending, foreign exchange, payments, and merchant services.

Teams

You’ll work alongside engineers and experts to make our products better and create smoother experiences for customers.

Learning

You’ll get an insight into how we handle risk across the business (think credit underwriting and conduct controls) to support customers and make finance a positive force.

Through your internship, you’ll connect with colleagues, build your network, and make a difference. Build the career you want in our inclusive, growth-focused culture.

  • Developing financial business cases for investments and initiatives while also supporting pricing.
  • Supporting efforts to break down barriers and build a more inclusive society.
