Our global Human Capital practice unlocks human potential for individuals, organisations and society. We connect human experience with agentic and technological advancement in an ever-changing world and create the conditions for successful transformation, empowering people to thrive in a new reality.
Under our Technology & Transformation business, Human Capital operates across four core teams: HR Strategy & Transformation, Organisation & Workforce Transformation, Major Programmes, and Actuarial, Insurance & Banking.
This job description is for HR Applications which sits within HR Strategy & Transformation.
The world of work is rapidly changing, and people are at the centre. If you love problem solving, innovating and want to work with world-leading, influential organisations to enable their workforces to thrive, then this is the place for you.
In Human Capital, HR Applications, we work directly with the largest Cloud software technologies in the market (Oracle, SAP, Workday) and exciting emerging technologies to design and implement cutting-edge HR solutions for our clients.
This enables and supports those organisations' high-performing HR functions and the activities that sit within it. Our teams help clients to design and build cloud-based HR systems that increase the efficiency of their business across the employee lifecycle.
Crucially, we are at the forefront of leveraging the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in HR. We design and implement AI-powered solutions, including GenAI and specific HR AI technologies, to transform HR functions and deliver exceptional employee experiences.
As part of this role, you will gain expertise in developing, configuring, testing and implementing Cloud software technologies by placing employee experience at the forefront of design. An interest in HR technology design and implementation is advised – you will gain knowledge of configuring Cloud solutions, building AI-powered chatbots, various coding languages (such as SQL, Java, Groovy, Python and Ruby) and using APIs to create reports, dashboards and integrate with other applications.
You will have the opportunity to develop expertise in applying GenAI and other emerging AI technologies to solve real-world HR challenges, such as automating tasks, personalising employee experiences, and generating data-driven insights.
We are recognised externally and ranked as the Global Leader in both HR Transformation and Digital HR Advisory. We have clients across Public, Private and Financial Sectors and our goal is to build capability, credibility and community within each organisation to deliver high impact HR to the business.
As part of the team, you will gain experience working with these clients and have opportunities to grow your career with us at Deloitte, through individual training, support and development.
As an Analyst in Human Capital, HR Applications, you will work on large-scale technology transformations, working across the full lifecycle from the design through to implementation.
You will work in a client facing role working as part of a team of Deloitte Human Capital consultants, supporting our clients to think differently about how they lead and deliver HR services across their organisations through reimagining and transforming their HR Systems.
Every project is different, but typical examples of responsibilities include:
Throughout your time at Deloitte, you will have opportunities to work with experts and teams across numerous fields, getting insight into how we work with the world’s largest and most important organisations, and understanding how we bring our range of technical expertise and combine them in the way that best serves our clients.
At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working.
If you’re in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events. Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.
All our work spaces are accessible, however, if you require further flexibility due to a health condition or caring responsibilities, please discuss this with our team.
You’ll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any STEM degree discipline and have graduated by September 2027 for the Autumn 2027 intake.
We don’t just keep humans at the heart of our client work, we do this internally too. We strongly believe in investing in our people, providing learning and development opportunities across all our areas of expertise – consulting skills, ways of working, tools, and methodologies – delivered through a combination of on-the-job experience, training and team activities.
If you are offered a role, you will be assigned a buddy who has been in your position as a graduate joining Deloitte as an Analyst. They will act as an informal point of contact, answering questions and offering insight and guidance before you join and throughout your journey at Deloitte.
We recommend getting your application in as soon as possible. Please note, some of our roles may close before the deadline if we experience high demand.
Please note that the salary for this role does not meet the minimum threshold required under the Immigration Rules for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship and therefore we’re unable to progress applications from candidates who require Skilled Worker sponsorship.
What matters to you? Make it happen at Deloitte.
