ScottishPower is part of the Iberdrola Group, one of the world’s largest integrated utility companies and world leader in wind energy. Our focus is on wind energy, smart grids and driving the change to a cleaner, electric future. We’re proud to say we produce 100% green electricity and are well on our way to our ultimate journey to Net Zero.

We're investing over £1.4 billion in the UK - every year - for the next 5 years. Working on cutting edge innovation projects, we’re creating a smarter, cleaner and more efficient network, as well as building and maintaining windfarms, as we work towards Net Zero.  And, with contributions of £40m to charitable causes during the last 5 years, we’re investing in our communities as well to create a better future, quicker, for everyone.

From the big to the small, that’s ScottishPower

At ScottishPower, we think less about what energy is and more about what it can do for you in the real world. Because our responsibility is to you the customer. From the big to the small.

Our IT Function

In partnership with Global IT, our Corporate IT Team is responsible for delivering improved services and innovative technical solutions to the ScottishPower businesses. This is a dynamic, challenging and exciting environment and we want people who’re up for the challenge to join our team.

On our IT Graduate programme, you will gain a greater understanding of our IT function as well as the utilities sector as a whole. With support from experienced mentors, you’ll gain essential skills and valuable experience, providing you with the tools you need to excel in our global organisation. With placements across the function, you’ll gain insights into multiple facets of IT while focusing on your chosen specialism. And with each placement, you’ll continue to build your network of colleagues and graduates to support your development. As a global organisation, you may be able to enjoy placements across the Iberdrola group, providing you with experience of dealing with global, multi-cultural teams and almost certainly gaining invaluable experience of participating in global projects.
