Start your career in technology and consulting through a paid degree apprenticeship with Capgemini Invent. Over the 3-year programme, you will combine structured study from Sheffield Hallam University with practical consulting experience, working alongside Capgemini Invent colleagues to help our clients address real business, data, AI and technology challenges. Your programme will begin with a 10-week campus-based bootcamp, giving you the foundations and support to transition into your Invent role.
You’ll develop digital and technical capabilities alongside consulting, delivery and professional skills. From your very first week, you’ll meet inspiring people and start to build relationships. After your bootcamp and foundation training, you’ll transition into the Public Sector or Enterprise Data & Analytics Invent team and begin applying your learning in a professional consulting environment.
At Capgemini, we’re committed to helping you succeed. You’ll be encouraged to grow your confidence, explore new ideas, and develop your personal brand in a supportive and inclusive environment where your voice matters.
This apprenticeship is ideal for anyone interested in technology, problem-solving, and building real digital solutions that make an impact.
Your Capgemini office base will be Manchester or Newcastle, and you should live within reasonable commuting distance of your chosen location. Due to the nature of our work, you may also need to travel to other Capgemini offices, Sheffield Hallam University and client locations. Some assignments may require regular on-site attendance or work in secure environments. Travel requirements will vary by assignment, so you should be prepared to be away from home for extended periods of time.
As a Digital & Technology Solutions Degree Apprentice, you’ll work as part of a team delivering and improving digital services for real clients. You’ll gain practical experience, learn from industry experts, and play an active role in building solutions that help organisations run more effectively.
When you join, you’ll start on one of the below pathways, depending on your skills and interests:
You do not need to begin the programme as a technology expert. We are looking for people who are curious, enjoy solving problems and are motivated to learn. You should be comfortable working with others, communicating your ideas and balancing university study with a professional role. An interest in how technology, data, AI and digital services can improve organisations and people’s experiences will help you succeed.
