The unit is approximately 170 people in size and is enjoying strong growth with a number of customers. We therefore require graduate and early career team members to join our team, benefit from the significant experience of our existing team and become part of the future of the unit.

The Mechanical & Physical Engineering Unit is just one part of the Capgemini Engineering business which totals approximately 1,000 employees in the UK and 70,000 globally, giving significant opportunities for personal development, be it within the Mechanical & Physical unit in the UK or within the wider UK and global businesses.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work across a number of our engineering teams in order to gather broad experience and knowledge of our business.

  • Analysis: provide computer aided engineering support to a number of aerospace and nuclear customers. Disciplines include finite element structural and thermal analysis and computational fluid dynamics
  • Design: offers design, digital mock-up (CAD) and drafting and definition services to a range of aerospace and naval customers
  • Producibility: provides management, expert analysis, and manufacturing engineering support to aerospace customers to reduce waste and improve quality of manufacturing production
  • Supply Chain: Offers quality support, supplier development and logistics support.
  • Materials & Processes: materials engineering and qualification services to multiple aerospace customers

The majority of our teams are located in the Bristol and Derby areas and some flexibility on working location is required. We will be operating this intake in conjunction with other engineering units within the business offering you the opportunity to build a network.
