Data and Analytics Graduate Programme

Data, Analytics, Maths.

We may close for applications earlier than 15th November due to high volumes, however this programme will not close any earlier than 1st November 2026.

About the programme

Join the team that transforms data into action.

At Sky, data drives everything we do - from creating new products and exploring new markets to predicting the future of our multi-billion-pound business. On our Data and Analytics Graduate Programme, you’ll help shape how we communicate with customers and deliver the entertainment millions love.

Where Better Begins - Early Careers
A career at Sky is where better begins.

What you’ll be doing

Over two years, you’ll rotate through four different teams, gaining hands-on experience across:

  • Econometrics
  • Advanced Analytics
  • Digital Decisioning
  • Applied Data Science
  • Customer Insight

You’ll work on real projects, develop cutting-edge analytical skills, and collaborate with brilliant minds to solve complex challenges. Advanced forecasting and credit risk modelling to machine learning for personalisation and customer segmentation. Best of all, you won’t need to specialise right away - you’ll explore the full spectrum of data and analytics before choosing your path.

What are we looking for

The one essential requirement is that you’re currently in the final year of your undergraduate degree, completing a postgraduate qualification, or have already graduated. Your degree can be in any subject. Our programme is designed to give you all the knowledge and experience you need. So, it doesn’t matter what your degree is in. We’re much more interested in the passion, drive and talent you’re able to bring to the team.

Skills that will help you thrive:

  • Logical, end-to-end thinking
  • Strong problem-solving, presentation, and IT skills
  • Enjoy fast-paced, task-focused environments
  • Collaborative and curious about market trends
  • Technical skills

Right to work: Please be aware that Sky do not offer sponsorship for this role, employment is contingent on you having a valid right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme.

Your application journey

Here’s what to expect, step by step:

Step 1 – Apply online

  • Tell us a bit about yourself — your details, your degree, and anything else you think we should know (like part-time jobs, volunteering, or cool projects you’ve worked on).
  • Once you hit submit, keep an eye on your inbox (and your junk folder!) — we’ll send you a link to start your digital assessments.
  • Please note, you can only apply to one programme per year.

Step 2 – Show us your skills

  • You’ll complete two online assessments that help us get to know you better - how you think, what motivates you, and how you might fit into the programme.
  • Don’t worry — you’ll get a chance to practice first, and we’ll send you tips to help you feel confident.
  • We understand that you might want to utilise AI to support your preparation for taking the assessments – understanding Sky etc. But we ask that you complete the assessments themselves without the assistance of AI.

Step 3 – Virtual Assessment Centre

  • If you make it to the final stage, we’ll invite you to a virtual assessment day.
  • You’ll take part in a range of activities designed to show us how you think, solve problems, and work with others — all while getting a real feel for what it’s like to work in Data at Sky.
  • We'll let you know when to expect a decision once the assessment day has taken place. Need Support? If you need us to make any adjustments to help you complete any stage of your application, let us know when you submit your application and someone from our Early Careers team will get in touch if we need more detail.

Where developing you begins

At Sky, your development starts from day one. Through personalised skills discovery, future-focused learning and real-world experiences, you'll build the confidence and skills to thrive. Along the way, you'll be supported by a dedicated Early Careers team, experienced mentors, buddies and managers, giving you the guidance, network and opportunities to make the most of your career from the very start.

So why wait?

This is your chance to be part of something big. Our graduate programme puts you right at the centre of the action — learning, growing, and helping make the magic of Sky happen every day. No matter your background, interests, or degree subject, there’s space here for your ideas and ambition.

A career at Sky is where better begins — and it starts with you.
