Description

Females in Finance Talent Lab Series is Sky’s exciting new three-month hybrid Talent Lab, designed to help ambitious female students build confidence, skills, and connections in the world of Finance.

At Sky, Finance is at the heart of every bold decision we make from investing in cutting-edge technology and content to driving commercial performance across our business. This series provides insight into the diverse and rewarding careers available in Finance while helping you develop the tools and networks to thrive.

Packed with interactive workshops, mentoring, networking opportunities, and real insight into life at Sky, you’ll gain valuable experience and discover how a future in Finance could look for you.

At Sky, we believe diverse perspectives make us stronger, we’re passionate about increasing female representation in Finance and creating opportunities for talented women to succeed.

Session 1 – Discover | Wednesday 1st July 2026 | Osterley

Kick-start your journey by exploring Sky Finance, hearing from inspiring female role models, and learning about the different career pathways available.

Session 2 – Explore | Wednesday 5th August 2026 | Osterley

Build your confidence through interactive workshops, coaching opportunities, and meaningful conversations with Finance professionals and current graduates.

Session 3 – Showcase | Wednesday 2nd September 2026 | Osterley

Put your learning into practice through a final challenge, present your ideas, and gain exposure to senior leaders at Sky.

This programme will include:

  • Skills-focused workshops
  • A graduate buddy/mentoring system
  • “Ask Me Anything” sessions with current graduates and Finance professionals
  • Coaching and potential shadowing opportunities
  • Networking opportunities with Sky employees and senior leaders
  • Insight into Sky’s Finance internship and graduate pathways.

What we’re looking for

If you're already in your second year (or third year on a four-year course) and already thinking about a future in commercial Finance, this programme is for you, whatever degree you’re studying. You'll need to have the right to work in the UK by the time the Females in Finance Talent Lab Series starts as sponsorship isn’t available.

Other skills and qualities we’re interested in:

  • Communicate clearly and confidently.
  • You’re curious, ask questions, and you’re always up for learning something new.
  • Get stuck in, you take initiative, and don’t wait to be told what to do next.
  • You enjoy solving problems and working out smarter ways to get things done.
  • You’re keen to grow, build your skills, and keep developing both personally and professionally.

  • Step 1 – Submit your application - Complete our online application form and answer a few short questions about your interest in the programme.
  • Step 2 – Digital assessment - Take part in interactive tasks online that show us how to think, solve problems and approach challenges.
