Description

We believe in creating an environment where our placement student really can learn by doing during their time with us and where they are given their own areas of responsibilities from the start. That’s why our experts treat you as part of the team from day one, encourage you to bring your own ideas to the table – and give you the opportunity to really show what you can do.

The high-voltage-battery is one of the key-components of electric vehicles. Its power and energy density is crucial for the overall driving performance of electrified cars. Developing technologies and products with significant higher performance for next generation vehicles is the scope of our department. We aim to optimise all aspects of a Li-Ion-Battery including chemical, mechanical and thermal aspects and are therefore in close co-operation with international suppliers, universities, institutes and business partners.

Electric drive trains for automotive applications are facing different technical challenges. These include typical automotive requirements like mechanical fatigue or low weight targets. Also battery specific topics resulting from Li-Ion-cells itself or cooling demands.
