We believe in creating an environment where you, our placement student, can learn and develop during your time with us and where you are given your own areas of responsibilities from the start. Our experts and mentors will treat you as part of the team from day one; encouraging you to bring your own ideas to the table and to give you the opportunity to show what you can really do.
The parts that are supplied by the BMW Group are a major contributor to both the financial health of the business and high levels of satisfaction for our customers. In order to deliver the service expected of our prestigious brands, it is vital that these parts are in the supplied first time and on time. Our class leading parts supply chain and parts logistics operation is the envy of the UK Motor Industry and wider Logistics community. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, robust and practical individual to join our team on a 13 month student placement.
As part of our team you’ll be helping to oversee the UK Supply Chain and distribution of car parts and accessories across the UK and Ireland, for BMW, MINI, Rolls Royce and Motorrad. You will also be working closely with our European colleagues in Germany.
Your personal drive and passion for supply chain and logistics could see you get involved in high spend, long term strategic projects. Your attention to detail and endeavour will help maintain business continuity, with day to day responsibilities and projects that you will be assigned to individually manage.
You will work alongside other teams in the wider department responsible for Strategy, Business Development and Customer Service. You will also gain hands on management experience deputising for superiors when they are on leave or engaged on other projects.
The successful candidate is a source of innovation and creativity for our business as well as a resource that will challenge our norms. Our goal is to nurture a future leader for the BMW Group.
