Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Graduate) - Interior Fit-Out

About The Role

At GRAHAM, we are committed to developing the next generation of construction professionals. We are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate to join our Interior Fit-Out team.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors. Working alongside experienced commercial and project delivery teams, you'll develop a broad understanding of the construction industry while building valuable technical, commercial, and professional skills.

You'll be involved in supporting project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, gaining exposure to cost management, procurement, planning, project coordination, and client engagement. With structured training, mentoring, and real project responsibility, you'll have the opportunity to establish a successful career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project teams in the successful delivery of interior fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Assist with project planning, procurement, cost management, and reporting activities.
• Attend site visits, progress meetings, and client meetings.
• Help maintain project records, documentation, and reporting information.
• Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Contribute to project performance, quality, and commercial objectives.
• Develop an understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project delivery.
• Participate in structured training and professional development programmes.

We offer a two year programme which focuses on developing your technical and interpersonal skills. In addition, a structured, mentored training programme, aligned to a recognised professional qualification, will set you on the pathway to chartership. Through early responsibility you’ll learn quickly on challenging projects with the opportunity for fast track career advancement.

Requirements:

Technical Competencies

Essential:

• A degree (or expected degree) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a construction related discipline
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong IT skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable:

• An appreciation of Health & Safety practices.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous placement, internship, or work experience within construction. 
• Understanding of the fit-out or construction industry. 
• Able to demonstrate problem solving.
