Integrated Solutions is the engineering and project delivery group providing services which include front-end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction services, and program management primarily in the hydrocarbons and energy transition industries.

About the role

This is an ideal opportunity to join KBR, a company completing exciting projects at the forefront of the energy transition and traditional energy markets. We work on some of the biggest and most complex energy industry projects around the world and our teams are some of the best and brightest in the industry.

The energy industry is at a pivotal point in history. With traditional energy such as oil and gas needing to become more sustainable and the world looking to alternative energy sources, our engineers are at the forefront of this energy transition for some of the biggest clients in the industry.

KBR requires graduate materials or welding engineers to develop their skills collaborating with outstanding engineers across a variety of exciting projects and clients. These roles are due to start in 2024.

The graduate engineers are typically involved in the following:

  • Materials - choice of materials (metallic and non-metallic)and assessment of corrosion via the different mechanisms.
  • Welding – define the different welding processes for  equipment built to different design codes. Assessment of vendor welding procedures and qualifications.

About you

The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 or above degree in a relevant materials or welding engineering and keen to progress towards IOM chartership or IWE qualification.
