Manchester Met Engineering Society (EngiSoc)

Welcome! We are the official Engineering Society at Manchester Metropolitan University. We aim to provide all students from any Science and Engineering discipline with a society they can join and the opportunity to enjoy the many trips and socials we have planned.

As well as trips and socials, we also hope to provide a society to help students with their studies, by meeting and supporting each other.

Achievements

Since the society properly started this academic year (2015-16), we have managed to recruit over 90 students in the first term. We have also organised a society trip to CERN, Switzerland for 30 students. We had many more students interested; however, we needed to cap it at this amount to be able to keep control of everyone on the trip.

Trip to CERN Switzerland

We took 30 students to Geneva in Switzerland and visited CERN. It was a great experience and all the students enjoyed it! On the last night, we had so many requests to plan another trip abroad!
