Formula Student is an established educational engineering competition that aims to educate university students to design, build and race single seater cars. The event serves as an opportunity for students to apply theoretical knowledge in a high-pressure environment. The competition consists of design and engineering, static events, dynamic events, cost and sustainability. The competition bridges the gap between academic learning and real world engineering scenarios.

Salford Racing are thrilled to announce after many years of disappointment, we successfully passed scrutineering and drove the car on the iconic Silverstone track for the very first time during as the team concluded the 23/24 season. Motorsport can be very stressful, therefore as a committee it it's important to treat its members to various events throughout the year such as paintballing, go-karting and many more.
