The Cyber Society (CyberSoc) is a student society under NTU's Computer Science department that focuses on Cyber Security and Networking. We aim to bring students closer to the computing/cyber security industry and provide a safe environment for exploration.
We are a society that welcomes students from all backgrounds and computer science disciplines. We host a variety of events, including trips, contests, support sessions, presentations by professionals in the computing industry, and other social gatherings.
We held a social event on the 29th of March, 2023. This was to introduce the committee to the society members, have a chat about society plans and relax. At the event a Hack the box demo was held, so as to show society members how it works and how they can utilise the platform to aid their learning or simply just explore. The speaker was one of our university’s cyber security lecturer.
