The Biomedical Society at the University of Liverpool is a newly formed, student led society consisting of highly motivated and friendly students with an interest in the biomedical science and the life sciences.
As a new society we are excited to arrange new events for our members. We are hoping to offer weekly revision sessions for our members as well as a range of academic events with speakers from a variety of scientific backgrounds and talks on different careers on offer to STEM students.
We also love a fun social to give us a break from all the hard work. Some of the things we love to put on for our members are quiz nights, pizza and games nights, movie nights and a big summer ball!
All students are welcome in our society and we pride ourselves on having members from a range of degree disciplines. Regardless of what you study, if you have an interest in the field and want to know more then this is the society for you!
Our very first society event. Meet our members and have a fun social before Christmas. Different colours assigned to each year group.
We had a life sciences ball consisting of 4 courses in the life science department. Held at Anfield Liverpool FC. We wanted to bring together a big group of life science students to celebrate finishing exams and congratulate the students who were graduating.
We have just had our freshers fair. We met new students and discussed what we had done and what our plans where for the upcoming year and encouraged them to join.
