Kingston Racing Society

Kingston Racing is a UK based Formula Student team with experience in both electric (EV) and internal combustion (ICE) single seater race cars.

In 2021, the team achieved their highest ever position at Formula Student UK with a 3^rd place finish in Endurance and 7^th place overall.

A wide range of disciplines can contribute to this project as it covers a lot of key development skills that is useful in any future endeavours.

We compete in the Formula Student sim racing series.

We manufacture 80-90% of the car in house.

We offer a zero credit Formula Student module that goes through all the fundamentals that are instrumental to the project.

Projects

We compete in Formula Student at Silverstone. This competition is an education engineering project where elements such as the car, design, business and systems analysis are scrutinised. We compete with an internal combustion vehicle with plans to move to hybrid and electric powertrain in the future.

Testing days

We have organised testing days to outline our performance targets as well as test our drivers.

Team socials

Team socials are themed depending on the event, for example, we recently had a Halloween themed social and we have plans to have a Christmas themed social.
