The Biomedical Science Society welcomes students from diverse life science disciplines at the University of Westminster. Our society serves as an invaluable resource, providing information on careers, enhancing employability prospects, and offering a vibrant space to have fun.
With over 200 members officially joined to the society, we host a variety of engaging events, including insightful educational talks from external speakers, captivating movie nights, science exhibitions and more.
These events not only allow students to network with professionals but also increases their knowledge and love for the biomedical sciences.

Plenty of students benefited from the information and felt as if they were well informed on their different career plans. Feedback: ‘The careers presentation was incredibly insightful, especially highlighting the different pathways to becoming a registered biomedical scientist in the UK. Learning about the STP programme and alternative routes opened new doors of opportunity, helping us explore career options we hadn’t considered before’ – Dhruv Sunil Chaudhuri. - Dhruv Sunil Chaudhuri ‘The presentation was explained very well; I am so glad I attended’ - Westminster Student Speaker: Sara Karaoui (President and Placement Student) |
