Hackathons

We've hosted large-scale hackathons, one of which was in collaboration with IBM professionals, who served as mentors and judges throughout the event. The event was designed to accommodate a wide range of skill sets, making it accessible and beneficial to everyone in attendance! Due to its popularity, the event quickly reached capacity, with all tickets—offered free of charge—being claimed.

Participants had three days to develop a project in teams of six, culminating in a professional presentation of their work and an awards evening.

CMS Ball

To bring a fitting conclusion to our series of events, we held a formal evening to bring the computing and mathematical sciences department together. The evening featured a carefully curated program that included a formal dinner, followed by entertainment and social activities. As the night progressed, the atmosphere shifted to a more festive mood, with music and dancing!

STEM Bar Crawl

We bring all students from every STEM subject together for one giant bar crawl across Leicester! It's a night filled with socialising, dancing, and exploration as we visit some of the best bars in the city.

Barcelona Trip
