Bryan G Hall were commissioned to produce a Transport Statement and Travel Plan to accompany an outline planning application by Sheffield United Football Club Ltd for a proposed new club shop for Sheffield United Football Club and a block of 45 apartments above, on an area of undeveloped land within the grounds of Bramall Lane Football Stadium.
Permission was granted in February 2017 and Bryan G Hall were subsequently instructed to assist with the discharge of various transport and highways related conditions.
Bryan G Hall have assisted Morrisons in securing planning consent for a new store in Abergavenny. A Transport Assessment and Travel Plan was prepared for the development of the site, which identified the appropriate mitigation measures to the local highway network including the upgrading of adjacent traffic signal junctions.
The Safety Audit team also undertook the Stage 1, 2 and 3 Road Safety Audits of the site access traffic signal controlled arrangements as the scheme progressed to completion. Now the store is open, the practice is also carrying out the Travel Plan Co-ordinator role assisting in promoting travel by sustainable modes and carrying out travel surveys.
Bryan G Hall were appointed by The Henry Buck Partnership – to prepare a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan to accompany a planning application to construct a mixed use retail and commercial development at the former Buslingthorpe Mills site off Buslingthorpe Lane, Leeds.
The site included a range of uses including a Discount Food Retail, Non-food Retail, Café and Industrial Units. The scheme had challenging topography and Bryan G Hall assisted the architect in looking at the site levels and produced designs for the ramps into and the through the site.
Bryan G Hall are commissioned to be the Travel Plan Co-ordinator for the Wilton Developments Limited property at 10 South Parade, Leeds. There is a requirement of Wilton Developments Limited and the other companies at 10 South Parade to implement, monitor and maintain a Company Travel Plan.
This was an obligation through the framework Travel Plan that was approved as part of the planning permission to refurbish the building. Bryan G Hall assist in the implementation of the Travel Plan and encourage modes of travel other than the private car.
Bryan G Hall were commissioned to provide guidance and expertise in undertaking a review of the transport hotspots and to identify potential solutions to these specific problems. As part of the commission Bryan G Hall were are instructed to undertake a site wide audit and produce a movement strategy framework for the Campus.
Bryan G Hall were also involved in the planning aspects for the multi-storey car park on campus. This involved undertaking a car parking phasing assessment, swept path analysis and Transport Note to identify the changes to the scheme in relation to transport from a previously consent car park.
Bryan G Hall Limited prepared a Transport Assessment to accompany an application by Sheffield United Football Club Limited to provide updated information relating to the 2009 Outline Proposal for the redevelopment of the South Stand.
The consent was initially granted in October 2009 and extended in January 2015. The consented proposal seeks to add 5,412 seats as well as new executive boxes and media centre giving a total of 6,671 seats. Bryan G Hall assisted in securing an extension to the permission which was granted in 2018 and are involved in discharging a number of pre-commencement conditions.
