Are you interested in digital signal processing and developing algorithms for audio/speech/biomedical applications? Cirrus Logic’s Software Engineering Division is looking for an undergraduate student to help in developing algorithms in different applications of signal processing. You will work within a talented and passionate cross-disciplinary team at Cirrus Logic, dedicated to researching, designing and delivering solutions that can change how people use technology.
Develop knowledge base for a particular problem definition and implement a respective algorithm under the supervision of a research engineer

Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must be working towards a BSc or MSc/MEng in Engineering
Some experience with development/evaluation of signal processing algorithms
Experience with MATLAB, Python or C/C++
Innovative, creative, lateral thinking
Attention to detail
Good communication skills in English (speaking/writing)
Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Experience in one of the following areas of: Signal acquisition; Signal analysis; Audio/Speech/Biomedical signal processing; Voice activity detection; De-reverberation; Echo cancellation; Noise reduction; Non-linear processing and control, automatic speech recognition, speaker recognition, language recognition, etc
Experience in one of the following areas of machine learning (in an audio/speech/biomedical context): Neural networks; Bayesian networks, GMMs, HMMs, SVM, etc
