As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Technical:

• Provide mechanical engineering input to studies and projects
• Develop mechanical engineering reports, documentation and data as directed by Study / Project Manager and Directors
• Undertake technical work within schedule and time limits set by Study/Project Director
• Develop CAD drawings
• Check documentation and data in accordance with agreed quality plans
• Client liaison under direction of the Study/Project Manager/Director.

Personal Development:

• Maintain personal professional development plan (work towards CEng);
• Develop mechanical engineering and piping knowledge;
• Develop study management and client liaison skills;
• Develop report writing and presentation skills;
• Develop understanding of sector commercial and contractual drivers.

Business Development:

• Assists in the preparation of bids, method statements, project schedules and proposals under direction of Study/Project Director
• Development of company profile
• To assist in the development of new business opportunities within the business.

Specification:

• Educated to degree within Mechanical Engineering
• Student/affiliate membership with an mechanical governing body.
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Experience of producing drawings within AutoCAD
