Designing Royal Birmingham Conservatoire for the digital age

Tetra Tech provided engineering support to the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, part of a £260m campus expansion for Birmingham City University (BCU) and one of the most ambitious educational projects we have supported in the UK. It provides five acoustically separated performance spaces, including a 500-seat concert hall, alongside recording and teaching facilities.

Managing the RAF’s Lossiemouth Development Programme (Scotland)

The Royal Air Force and Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) enlisted Tetra Tech to plan, procure, and execute delivery of a £400m+ programme of infrastructure works that would facilitate a new Maritime Patrol Aircraft capability and an additional Typhoon fighter squadron and the overall sustainment of RAF Lossiemouth as the RAF’s only main operating base in Scotland.

Tetra Tech’s multidisciplinary experts supported the DIO on planning and design, procurement, and delivery of a masterplan to relocate UK troops across Salisbury Plain.


Carlisle Civic Centre (Cumbria)

In December 2015, Storm Desmond brought significant flooding to parts of Cumbria causing damage to a huge number of properties. 11 buildings owned by Carlisle City Council were affected including, the Civic Centre in the heart of the City. 

Creating a unified Shared Education Campus (Northern Ireland)

Supporting Northern Ireland Department of Education’s relocation of five post-primary schools and one special school onto a Strule Shared Education Campus.
