Making everybody feel welcome at Tetra Tech is important to us – because everybody is welcome! We are working hard to be a business where people can not only be themselves but can celebrate who they are and what they bring to our organisation.
At a local level we have a Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) steering group and series of working parties that meet regularly, suggesting and implementing imaginative ways we can foster a more supportive environment for everyone.
From celebrating Pride to arranging lunch and learn workshops on cultural and religious festivals, our approach is based on continuous learning and engagement with our people to ensure we are focussed on what is important to them; whilst not being afraid to admit we have not achieved our ambitious aims yet.
We also take part in global initiatives across the Tetra Tech group of companies collaborating with colleagues around the world to share ideas and learn from each other’s experiences as a multinational, multicultural business.
All of this not only serves to improve the culture of our business; it also brings an assortment and diversity of thoughts, ideas and approaches to our work and importantly means we can better reflect the demographics and therefore the wants and needs of the communities we live and work in.
