About Us

Alloyed is a young venture-funded company of around 200 world-class metallurgists, mechanical engineers, technicians, and software developers working across three offices in the UK and one in the US, building the future of advanced metal components. We use proprietary software packages which combine advanced machine learning and physical modelling, as well as extensive experimental facilities, to 3D print metal components better and faster than anyone else.

At our premises in Yarnton and Abingdon, near Oxford, we are aiming to build the world’s fastest, smartest, and best-equipped facility for the rapid development of additively manufactured parts for the electronics, aerospace and industrial sectors, and novel metal alloys for better performance.

We use our technology to build businesses in a range of markets characterised by very different requirements and priorities, timescales, customers, and cultures. We operate four customer-facing business units: Component Development, Innovation Services, Production Solutions, and Argive, and an internal R&D function.

Alloyed’s expertise spans the entire product life cycle, from the development of superior alloys, unprecedented additive manufacturing process optimisation, to the production of complex metal parts. As a company built upon its technological know-how, our unique suite of digital platforms is key to our strategy.

Our proprietary software includes Engine®, a powerful build processor that optimises balance across feature fidelity, productivity, and quality; Architect®, an application design platform which takes advantage of our laser control; and Alloys-By-Design (ABD®), a rapid alloy design and optimisation platform that uses physics-based models and ML techniques to evaluate millions of alloys.
