Argive, a division of Alloyed, is currently designing microturbine engines for jet propulsion applications. The system architecture is simple and scalable, with outer diameters ranging from 60-240mm.
Argive’s development programme uses advanced manufacturing to increase performance compared to current state-of-the-art, leveraging complex designs and applying Alloyed’s suite of high-temperature materials. Additionally, the engines have a drastically reduced part count, low production cost and can be readily manufactured at scale.
Argive is seeking motivated engineers to support the design & prototyping of microturbine control systems across both hardware and firmware. This role involves close collaboration with mechanical design and experimental teams to validate and improve the control systems, and you will play a key role in the development and optimisation process. The role will cover all aspects of the engine control system; from design all the way through to testing.
You will be based at Alloyed’s site in Yarnton, north of Oxford. A highly competitive remuneration package is offered, including equity incentives.
