Oliver Wyman is a caring and empathetic firm in which support for our employees' wellbeing is a signature element of the colleague experience.
We want our colleagues to feel safe bringing their whole selves to work, supported by a culture where mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing are valued and prioritised, equipped to openly discuss topics of mental health, empowered to be vocal about their needs, and comfortable accessing available help as early as possible.
"We operate in dynamic environments and empower everyone to thrive and reach their full potential. Our greatest triumph as a business lies in our ability to truly take care of our colleagues while driving impact for our clients."
Nicky Dingemans, Chief Human Capital Officer
Mental Health Awareness Month
Oliver Wyman celebrates mental health awareness month each May with a range of global activities and events aimed at destigmatising mental health, raising awareness and bringing colleagues together. One of the signature moments of this year was a podcast discussing health inequities with Dr. Nzinga Harrison, the Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of Eleanor Health, a value-based provider of comprehensive, outpatient addiction treatment.
World Mental Health Day
Every year on 10th October we join the global efforts around World Mental Health Day to raise awareness of mental health issues and to mobilise efforts in support of mental health. Colleagues from across the firm share their stories, from their experience acting as Oliver Wyman's Wellbeing Champion to their thoughts on how they take care of their own mental health.
How are you?
As our parent company Marsh & McLennan continues its mission to normalise and champion mental health in the workplace, they asked colleagues around the world a simple, but powerful question: “How are you?”
We are collaborating with other organisations to continually evolve. We do not have all the answers, and we are committed to learning from others and sharing and collaborating in the common goal of supporting people. Find tips and materials at these organisations to support wellbeing at work.
