"I have a background in Mechanical Engineering and wanted to work at newcleo because they are undertaking innovative projects at an exciting time in the nuclear industry, and I was motivated to be involved with this unique and important technology.
So far, I’ve enjoyed learning lots about the technologies being worked on and meeting the newcleo team, who are all extremely friendly and supportive.
My current placement in the Project Engineering team has given me the opportunity to directly contribute to the progression of the LFR projects and to start working on my management and technical skills.
