Electromagnetics Engineer

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and technical Electromagnetics Applications Engineer to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for leading customer engagements focused on Simulia CST, our industry-leading electromagnetics simulation software. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, experience with Simulation tools, and a passion for helping customers achieve their engineering goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-sales engagements with prospective customers, understanding their needs and demonstrating the capabilities of Simulia CST to address their challenges. 
  • Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations, showcasing the software's functionalities and its value proposition. 
  • Provide technical support to existing customers, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal software usage. 
  • Lead consultancy projects, collaborating with customers to define their simulation needs, develop appropriate models, and interpret results. 
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Simulia CST and related technologies, attending training sessions and conferences. 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and training materials. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure a seamless customer experience. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field. 
  • Experience working with computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools, preferably in electromagnetics simulation. 
  • In-depth knowledge of electromagnetic theory and its applications. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Experience with project management methodologies would be beneficial.
