Lascelle leads the delivery of Blake Clough’s curtailment tools and methodologies, with over 100 Distribution and Transmission projects under his belt, ranging from Accelerated Storage Schemes, Load Management Schemes, Active Network Management Schemes, Intertrips, and everything in between. This has included the development of bespoke in-house scripts, tools, and methodologies for a complete range of Transmission and Distribution schemes in Great Britain. Aside from curtailment, he supports the wider grid connections team, leading and supporting delivery of high-quality work and helping innovate new tools and services.
Prior to joining Blake Clough, he earned his MRes in Future Power Networks and Smart Grids from the University of Strathclyde and has successfully defended his PhD from Imperial College London. His PhD research focused on enhancing multi-energy microgrid resilience with smart operational strategies, leading to published articles in industry-leading journals and conferences.
