Toby Larnach is a student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Huddersfield, currently gaining practical experience through a placement year at Blake Clough Consulting. At Blake Clough Consulting, he is involved in due diligence, site feasibility, curtailment analysis, grid screening, and tool development projects.
Toby has made significant contributions to the development of both high-level GSP and DNO generation and demand headroom calculators, which are useful for grid capacity screening purposes. His contributions include automated data extraction as well as keeping the tools updated.
Outside of his professional interests, Toby enjoys several outdoor activities. He holds a PADI Open Water Scuba Diving license and enjoys bouldering. In his free time, Toby can often be found camping, hiking and participating in various outdoor activities.
