The Business

ADInstruments provides innovative solutions that empower scientific discovery and education in the life sciences. With 180 staff globally, 13 offices, and an extensive distribution network, we’re a trusted partner to researchers and educators worldwide.

The Story of ADInstruments
Established in 1986, ADInstruments has grown a lot over the decades, but some things haven’t changed. We are still driven to discover innovative solutions to meet the needs of scientists and educators.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and curious graduate (or early-career professional) to join our UK/Europe sales team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in life sciences who is interested in transitioning into a commercial, customer-facing career.

Working across both education and research markets, you will play a key role in supporting regional sales activity, engaging with academic institutions, and helping customers identify the right solutions from ADInstruments’ portfolio.

What’s in it for you

At ADInstruments, we are making science easier. We are passionate about supporting education and research through innovative technology, and we are proud of our collaborative and inclusive culture. You will be joining a supportive team where you can develop your skills, gain commercial experience, and build a long-term career pathway within the organisation.

We offer a flexible, hybrid working environment, opportunities for learning and development, and a culture built on trust, collaboration, and meaningful contribution.

Skills and Experience

We’re excited about you because you’ll bring:

  • A degree in life sciences (e.g. physiology, neuroscience, pharmacology or similar)
  • The ability to develop an expert understanding of the ADInstruments product range and practical application areas
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with customers
  • Curious, proactive, and motivated to learn
  • Well organised with good attention to detail
  • Interested in developing a career in scientific sales or commercial roles

Even if you don’t meet all the criteria, we’d love to hear from you. What matters most is your passion, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

Package

  • Salary: ~£30,000 + performance-based incentive
  • Hybrid working (Oxford-based, 3 days in office once trained)
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities

This is an ideal role for a recent graduate or someone early in their career looking to move into a commercial role within the life sciences sector.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
