We are seeking a motivated Graduate/Trainee Surveyor to join our growing team. This role is ideally suited to a recent postgraduate or graduate who has completed a degree in surveying (or a related discipline) or has completed fire safety related qualifications and is looking to build a career in fire safety.
This is a dynamic position offering a balanced mix of site work, office collaboration, and home working, providing variety and flexibility while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting fire safety inspections and fire risk assessments across a range of buildings
Contribute to dynamic projects with fire safety consultancy
Preparing project field reports, advice notes and detailed reports
Working alongside experienced professionals to develop technical knowledge
Engaging with clients in a professional and confident manner
Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the team through professional development
Qualifications and Attributes:
The candidate should be enthusiastic, proactive, and professional attitude with good communication and organisational skills.
They should have a strong willingness to learn and develop within a specialist field with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Degree in surveying (or a related discipline) or has fire safety related qualifications
2:2 and above or Level 4/5 Diploma in Surveying or Fire Safety
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Have strong organisational and time-management skills.
Have excellent grammar, use of the English language, and have strong communication skills (both orally and written).
IT literate, although specialist fire software training will be given.
A previous placement or work experience in a similar field is advantageous but not necessary.
