We are seeking a motivated Graduate/Trainee Surveyor to join our growing team. This role is ideally suited to a recent postgraduate or graduate who has completed a degree in surveying (or a related discipline) or has completed fire safety related qualifications and is looking to build a career in fire safety.

This is a dynamic position offering a balanced mix of site work, office collaboration, and home working, providing variety and flexibility while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting fire safety inspections and fire risk assessments across a range of buildings
  • Contribute to dynamic projects with fire safety consultancy
  • Preparing project field reports, advice notes and detailed reports
  • Working alongside experienced professionals to develop technical knowledge
  • Engaging with clients in a professional and confident manner
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the team through professional development

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • The candidate should be enthusiastic, proactive, and professional attitude with good communication and organisational skills.
  • They should have a strong willingness to learn and develop within a specialist field with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Degree in surveying (or a related discipline) or has fire safety related qualifications
    • 2:2 and above or Level 4/5 Diploma in Surveying or Fire Safety
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
  • Have strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Have excellent grammar, use of the English language, and have strong communication skills (both orally and written).
  • IT literate, although specialist fire software training will be given.
  • A previous placement or work experience in a similar field is advantageous but not necessary.
