We've worked hard to establish ourselves as the mixer drink specialists, crafting a range of products with a singular viewpoint: going to the ends of the earth to create the best-tasting mixers.
In 2025, it marked two decades since Fever-Tree set out to revolutionise the mixer. What began as a bold idea - to bring quality back to the G&T - has grown into a global movement for better drinks.
Fever-Tree began in 2003 with a meeting of minds and one simple premise: if three quarters of your drink is the mixer, wouldn’t you want it to be the best?
Our co-founders Charles and Tim, working in different parts of the drinks business, had both spotted that premium spirits were growing quickly, fuelled by consumers’ increasing awareness of the provenance of what they ate and drank.
Charles and Tim set out to put quality back into mixers. From the very beginning, Charles and Tim approached their business in a different way - there would be no compromise at Fever-Tree. Flavour and quality were of the utmost importance.
This mindset led them on an 18-month adventure, concluding with the launch of our Premium Indian Tonic Water in 2005. Tim could be seen cycling the streets of London getting Fever-Tree's name out there. We soon got our first UK retail listing in Waitrose.
By 2018, Fever-Tree had overtaken Schweppes in value in the UK. Also now in Denmark, Belgium and the USA. We then launched the Refreshingly Light range. The Soda range was launched in 2020, the same year Fever-Tree acquired Global Drinks Partnership (GDP), our German distributor based in Munich.
In 2021, Fever-Tree had produced enough products to reach up to the moon and back 9 times! We started working with our 9th production site and our first in the USA. The Sydney office opened in Australia in 2023. This took us to 4 global offices, with 9+ hubs and over 360 employees.
We're pioneering to produce an unrivalled drinking experience at every occasion. Innovation remains at the heart of Fever-Tree, and we've developed a range of tonic waters that perfectly complement the varied flavour categories of gin. We've found three incredibly diverse varieties of ginger that, together, create a remarkably deep, fresh and true taste, which we've used to make a selection of ginger ales and ginger beer.
We've developed a recipe for cola using Madagascan vanilla with the single purpose: to bring out the best in dark spirits, like whiskies and rum. We have lemonades using the finest, naturally sourced ingredients and a beautifully simple soda water too.
