Apprenticeship Programme

Our four-year, full-time UK apprenticeship programme empowers talent to explore a variety of functional areas within financial services. You’ll gain valuable on-the-job experience while studying for a related degree or professional-level qualification funded by BNY.

What can I expect as an apprentice at BNY?

• Fully-funded university qualification or related degree as selected by BNY
• Placement at the start of the program into a full-time role at BNY which you may remain in after successful completion of your qualification or degree
• Manageable blend of on-the-job learning as well as class-based and remote studying

Who can be a BNY Apprentice?

England-based

• Must be based in Manchester, England and must have lived in England for the previous three years.

Qualifications

• Three A levels (minimum B, C, C) or equivalent (predicted or achieved).

Degree Eligibility

• Degree is not required; must not have an existing degree similar to the apprenticeship programme criteria.

Intern Application and Interview Process

01. Application

Search open positions that interest you and apply by uploading your resume to autofill the required fields. Be sure to review and then submit.  

02. Assessment

After an assessment of your skills, our early careers recruitment team may reach out to you to get to know you, complete a short assessment and answer any questions you may have about our culture.  

03. Interview

You'll meet with the BNY team to further explore the opportunity, go deeper into your skills and competencies and address any questions.

04. Offer

If there is a mutual interest, and we believe you possess the essential skills, values, and attitude we’ll invite you to join our early careers programme.
