We are a well-established automation company based in Cheshire who are looking for a graduate software engineer to join our team.

This is a permanent role which will give you the opportunity to work in a wide range of areas including process control, data acquisition, HMI building, robotics and many others.

Our customers include many blue chip companies in a variety of business sectors, so this is your chance to expand your experience and embark on not just a job, but a career with us.

An ability to learn is important as  you will initially be working alongside our highly experienced engineers whilst you get to grips with the many tasks at hand. Full training and support will be provided and we are also willing to work with anyone who is looking for a degree apprenticeship. You must be self-motivated as you will eventually be expected to manage your own time, resources, and projects.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Software Engineer with Python, Unix/Linux, REST-API and some Node Red exposure.
  • Understanding of mechanical and/or electrical engineering fundamentals. 
  • Full driving licence and able to travel to customer sites when needed (UK wide).
  • Must have indefinite right to work in the UK with no sponsorship required.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Able to work independently.

Useful:

  • IoT or IIoT experience.
  • Priority given to candidates looking for long-term career position.

Working Hours

35 hours per week. Flexible working hours. 

  • Mon-Thurs: 9-5:30.
  • Friday: 9-3. 

Interview Process

  • 1st stage: introductory Teams call to understand your background. 
  • 2nd stage: face-to-face interview, site tour, meet the team and technical questions.
