  • 1951
    Established by the Turner family – initially as a pattern shop.
  • 1960
    Formed as a dedicated pattern making business.
  • 1976
    Brookhouse begin manufacturing jigs, tools and assembly fixtures for the Aerospace industry.
  • 1985
    Brookhouse begin manufacturing composites.
  • 1995
    Brookhouse begin manufacturing more significant military airframe components using autoclave.
  • 1997
    Brookhouse undertakes more work on commercial aircraft composites.
  • 2000
    Second manufacturing facility acquired in Darwen to support growth.
  • 2008
    Kaman acquire Brookhouse Composites.
  • 2011
    Kaman rebrand to Kaman UK & increases its capability offering the manufacture of composites along with metallics.
  • 2018
    Integration of composite and metallic capabilities on one site.
  • 2021
    Management buyout – equity backed.
  • 2023
    Matthew Rossiter appointed as CEO.
  • 2024
    New building planned July 2024.
