We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong coding capabilities to support the development of business intelligence, reporting, and data-driven decision making.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights, building dashboards, and improving data processes across the organisation.
This is a fixed term contract initially, with the possibility of a permanent role depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports
Collect, clean, and analyse data from multiple systems (HR, finance, operations, Epicor MRP)
Write and maintain code for data extraction, transformation, and automation
Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions
Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and KPIs
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency
Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency
Support the implementation of new data systems or tools
Provide training and guidance to users on dashboards and reporting tools
The Candidate:
Strong coding skills
Experience with data visualisation tools
Strong data manipulation and analysis skills
Ability to work with large datasets and multiple data sources
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data to non-technical stakeholders
Experience building data pipelines or ETL processes
Knowledge of databases and data warehousing concepts
Understanding of data governance and GDPR principles
Highly organised and detail-focused
Proactive and able to work independently
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Curious mindset with a passion for data
